Titan have booked a place in the grand final in Dallas following a 2-1 victory over compLexity.

Starting off on the Terrorist side on de_dust2, coL were able to win the pistol round and the following two anti-eco rounds, despite some solid pistol work from Titan in their first eco attempt. In the first gun round, coL just waited in the middle area, trying to get one entry kill before deciding what to do. They ended up going short, where they were sandwiched by Titan’s players on the A site.

The former VeryGames team went on to make it 3-3, before Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert put coL back in the lead with a three-kill round to stop the Frenchmen's streak. But for the most part of the first half, Titan proved to be a far superior side, winning most of the individual duels across the map and showing some very strong AWP play as they were up 9-6 at the break.

Now playing on the terrorist side, the more favorite of the two on this map, Titan put two players faking long in the pistol round, while the remaining trio were tasked with planting the bomb on B. It was a risky move that almost backfired, but in the end Richard "shox" Papillon won a 1-on-2 situation and punished coL's players for not buying a defuse kit.

complexity then found a lifeline as Spencer "hiko" Martin picked up four kills in an eco round to put his team back in the game. However, that did little in the way of stopping Titan, who continued on a roll. Then, coL finally managed to step up their game and equalised the match on 13 rounds and then on 14 rounds.

But if there is one thing that one can take from this map is that the biggest difference between these two teams lied in the number of individual mistakes. With the score tied at 14 rounds, Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert pushed short with a grenade in his hand and was completely run over, paving the way for Titan to win this round and the next one (coL were pretty much broke) and take a 16-14 victory.

Titan take the lead in this best-of-three match

de_inferno then followed, and here coL played a perfect first round, taking down the entire Titan team without losing a single player. The two anti eco rounds also went coL’s way, with the American side going on to make it 4-0 as they picked up the first gun round: Titan faked B before going back to this very same site and planting the bomb, but coL won the gun battle and defused the bomb.

Titan then finally managed to win their first round of the game, reducing the deficit to 1-4, but coL immediately responded and kept their opponents at bay. With the score 6-1 in favour of the North American side, Richard "shox" Papillon almost played out a world-class round as he took down three players after being left alone against four opponents inside the A site, but in the end Sean "sgares" Gares denied him the chance for a video highlight.

coL looked nothing like the side from the first map: they were reading Titan’s game very well, predicting their every move and, on top of that, they were outaiming the French team, so it was no surprise that they were leading 13-2 at the break.

In the second half, Titan came out the brighter and won the pistol round with ease, with Adil "ScreaM" Benrlitom ruining coL’s B rush with three kills, but then the French team showed that their hearts were simply not in it anymore as they fell into their opponents' trap following a mindless rush. coL would go on to win the next two rounds to pick up an impressive 16-3 win and take the game to a third map.

n0thing was simply on fire in this game

On de_nuke, Titan, who were playing on the Terrorist side, got off to a good start and took the pistol round as Richard "shox" Papillon won a 1-on-2 situation after Spencer "hiko" Martin had picked up three frags. The following round went down to the wire as coL were close to retaking the lower bombsite before Edouard "SmithZz" Dubourdeaux killed the defuser in the very last second.

The first gun round of this map then went to coL, who looked very sharp as they stopped Titan's outside-inner split. Rounds kept going back and forth here in this game, but as the teams switched sides, Titan were trailing coL by just one round, surely a great half for them because they were about to play on the highly-favoured CT side.

As expected, the former VeryGames side then equalised the game on eight rounds, thanks to Kévin "Ex6TenZ" Droolans' triple kill in the pistol round. With the score 10-8 in favour of Titan, the French team almost lost the first gun round of this second half, but thankfully for them there was no time left on the clock for compLexity to plant the bomb even though the Americans were already inside the lower site.

Titan would go on to make it 13-8 in their favour, and just when everyone thought that Droolans' men had this in the bag, coL mounted a serious comeback and forced the game to the very last round, which went to the Frenchmen.
